A very red room
The first room we got around to painting in our new (very old) house was the living room. We finished it a couple of weeks ago, and I think it's perfect. The colour is Benjamin Moore Raspberry Truffle ('raspberry' makes me think fuschia, but this is certainly red) and those are some of Adam's pictures on the walls. (There's a link to his sites on the right. I think he's pretty talented.)

Yes, goatmeal, that's the coffee table we wrestled into the car at Frenchy's last year. The blanket covering the chair is also from Frenchy's, as well as the chenille throw. Not in the picture is another chair slipcover which is from Frenchy's too.
Great colour. And I don't even like red very much! It's a far cry from what all those TV shows advise -- "tasteful" (read: DULL) white and beige. Apparently cold is synonymous with good taste.
