un-cashmere un-cowl neckwarmer

The other day, I saw this lovely neckwarmer and loved the pattern - not the regular knitti-ness with the straight lines and such. (Can you tell I'm not a knitter?) I mentioned it to Ingrid, thinking that I might be able to make it, and when Annie and Ingrid came over to knit on Friday, Ingrid had whipped one up for me! Toggle and all! (I'm a big fan of toggles.) Adam took the picture as we ran outside in the very much below freezing weather, so we didn't take the time to adjust it and tuck the end under. I always stick my tongue out like that. Sigh. Anyway, I love it and it's perfect! Thanks, Ingrid!

Edited to add a picture of me wearing it properly!

I think if you flip it around so that the toggle is toward the bottom of the scarf instead of at the top, it might cover your neck better. That's why I put the toggle off-centre.

Not to say that you're wearing it wrong or anything, it just might keep you warmer the other way! :)

Oh! I forgot to say "You're welcome" and "Happy Snow Day!"

Ah, I get it. (Thumping my forehead like the dork I am). I put it on without even looking as Adam rushed me out to do the photo, so when I looked at it I thought it looked funny. Then when I looked at the craft picture, I thought it was just the end that wasn't tucked in, but now I get it. Heh heh heh. At least I haven't worn it in public yet, just posted the picture for all to see. :)

Ah, that's alright. I guess I should have included an instruction booklet with it. Teehee!
